Appiah-Kubi daa kpɛn’ Ghana wadmaanib yir la nɛ yʋʋm 2009, o anɛ wabʋg paati la nid, ka an wadmaan tis Atwima Kwawoma Constituency. O anɛ Economist/Management Consultant.[3]O daa anɛ kpɛɛm bɛ Policy Planning and Development at the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) in Accra.[3]

Ka o paam vɔɔt kal 32,367 yi vɔɔtnam 39,660 ,ka kɔbʋg pʋʋgin ka o mɔr 81.61%  yi nidib banɛ wʋsa vɔɔt la.[6] O daa di ka basi Nana Kwadwo Appiah onɛ an ma’asim tiig na’adɔɔg la nid nɛ Acquah Evans Fordjour onɛ mɛ an  Reformed Patriotic Democrats paati la. Kɔbʋg pʋʋgin banɛ daa paam vɔɔts si’em nwa; 14.93% nɛ 3.46% yi nidib banɛ daa vɔɔt la.[6]
